Mission Statement

Our aim is to improve the quality of life for animals in the Baltimore community by working hand-in-hand with existing organizations such as the Maryland SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and, if interest extends to exotic animals, the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. To achieve this goal, we intend to a) complete volunteer work such as dog walking, feeding, grooming, and providing affection to animals at the Maryland SPCA, b) organize fundraisers that will benefit the Maryland SPCA, c) encourage students in off-campus housing to take in temporary foster pets to relieve overcrowding pressure in animal shelters, and d) participate in community-outreach events that bring attention to animal-related issues, such as the Humane Society’s “Walk for Animals” in DC and the SPCA’s “March for the Animals” in Baltimore.
